About Me

I’m Candace, a professional bookkeeper and certified QBO ProAdvisor whose goal is to help small business owners find more of the work/life balance they crave—spending more time with the families they cherish and work they love, less with the bookkeeping they would rather forget.

A love of all things numbers lead me back to bookkeeping in “retirement” after 26 years of teaching elementary school music and many more years of teaching piano. That one bookkeeping class in high school was enough to get me hooked! So I’m living my dream retirement! And being retired, I can devote a lot of time and attention to each bookkeeping client.

A native and lifelong Texan, I now live in delightful Cedar Park, Texas (Austin area). I’m mom to one girl and grandmother to one six-year-old “all boy.” Hobbies include playing the piano, playing with my grandson, taking nature walks, reading (nonfiction and quality children’s literature), and gardening.
